Summary/Abstract: In this study, the mediator role of psychological contract in the effect of work-family conflict on turnover intention was investigated. In this regard, firstly related literature about work-life balance, work-family conflict, psychological contract and turnover intention were reviewed. Then, a survey was conducted with 208 auditors working at independent audit sector in Istanbul city via questionnaire form prepared within the scope of the research aim. In order to measure respondents’ work-family conflict perceptions, Work-Family Conflict Scale developed by Netemeyer, Boles and McMurrian (1996) with 10-items was used. In order to measure respondents’ psychological contract perceptions, Psychological Contract Scale developed by Robinson and Rousseau (1994) with 9-items was used. In order to measure turnover intention, Turnover Intention Scale developed by Mobley, Horner and Hollingsworth (1978) with 3-items was used. In data analysis, explanatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis and mediator analysis were used. According to the findings, it was found that work-family conflict has positive and significant effect on turnover intention, and psychological contract has a mediator role in this effect.
