Summary/Abstract: Removing children from their mothers, forced sterilisation and abortions or the killings of newborn babies were a common part of the persecution in the women’s concentration camp in Ravensbrück. Many of the surviving prisoners spent their whole lives trying to cope with the trauma they had experienced.
