Summary/Abstract: Only a few months after the establishment of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia in Prague, another party of the same type, the Communist Party of China, was established thousands of kilometres away. Even though they shared the same ideology as well as their membership of the Komintern, the two worlds could not have been farther apart.
