Summary/Abstract: I choose to talk about the book "Parental resources and children’s education: A comparative perspective for Poland and Romania", authored by Monica Marin, published by Lumen Publishing House, in 2018, as a result of a desire to know the news in the field of education, from a sociological perspective, both as a professor and as a doctoral student. The interest for the research of the specialized literature regarding the child, the parents and the mutual influences in the sphere of educational services are topics approached in my doctoral research.
