ENFORCEMENT OF PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LEGISLATION BY INSOLVENCY PRACTITIONERS

Summary/Abstract: An important role in the application of the legislation specific to the personal data protection field belongs to the data protection officer. Insolvency practitioners have a number of responsibilities in this area, related to the efforts made in this field within the National Union of Insolvency Practitioners and the National Institute for the Training of Insolvency Practitioners to develop tools that are more than necessary to prevent breaches of the law - which happen often, and already legally affect the rights and obligations altogether.
