Summary/Abstract: This study aims at analyzing the right to private life, a right which is recognized and guaranteed both at national and international level, in the light of a recent decision of the European Court of Human Rights in the Case Lăcătuş v. Switzerland, decision which emphasizes some sensitive issues, like criminalizing begging; the need of protecting the disadvantaged, vulnerable, discriminated groups of individuals, as well as aspects related to the respect for the fundamental human rights.
