Use of the space between the buildings of the University of Gdańsk Baltic Campus in the opinion of students and employees of the universit

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of research on the use of the space between the buildings of the Baltic Campus of the University of Gdańsk. The study was divided into two parts. The aim of the first one is to present the current state of development of the fenced part of the UG campus, taking into account its location and communication accessibility, as well as parking spaces, communication routes (cars and pedestrians), green areas and small architecture objects located on its premises. The purpose of the second part is to identify the current and preferred ways of using the space between the buildings of the fenced part of the UG campus by its users (students and employees). Based on the results of the survey, final conclusions were formulated, which will be taken into account when implementing the project of changing land use planning of the UG Baltic Campus. The aim of the project will be to create attractive places to spend time outside of classes, as well as places for meetings and integration of the academic community on the UG campus. The project will (probably) be carried out by members of the UG Student Scientific Circle of Spatial Management.
