Summary/Abstract: Social media is currently widely used in promotions and advertising campaigns of virtually all companies, including those belonging to the music industry. Being successful in this industry is not easy due to the high competition. Artists, agents and clubs use various means to attract as many fans as possible and achieve the best financial results. Promotion in traditional media does not provide as many options as promoting music in social media. Social media allow for quick and effective advertising of the product, which is music, and the service, which is the performance of music by artists. This is assisted by managers of bands and music clubs, professionally and attractively prepared advertising spots. Direct contact with users and detailed information, such as concert calendars, is also very important.
