Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the profile, political views and social and educational activities of Jan Aleksandrowski, a recognized teacher of Gimnasium (Secondary School) and Liceum (High School) in Krzemieniec and in secondary schools in the Kingdom of Poland. He was a Russian who spent most of his professional life among Poles. His sentiment towards the Polish nation deepened as a result of entering into a marriage with a Polish woman. In his professional work both at the Krzemieniec Secondary School and later in secondary schools in Lublin, Sejny and Kielce, he turned out to be a true friend of Polish youth. He also proved to be an excellent teacher and educator.
