Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the social and cultural significance of language as a semantic and symbolic universe. Globalization has revealed the need for institutional use of language not only as a means of communication and translator of meanings and values, but also as a means of constructing of social reality. Sustainable development requires the specific solution of global and the acute common problems. Such a specific solution requires to address native languages of different societies’ representatives, maintain linguistic and cultural diversity for sustainable development – as such development is only possible as being accessible to everyone on the planet. Modern education has to base upon the resource of understanding provided by modern science through scientometric means of organizing of scientific communication. Free combinatorics of content as a basis and stimulus for the creation of new concepts is the cultural model provided by the developed languages of science.
