Summary/Abstract: Through statutes related to counteracting the coronavirus epidemic, the legislator introduced into the legal system provisions suspending and resuming the prescription periods in criminal cases. However, the resuming provision says suspended prescription periods begin their course instead of continuing it. Therefore, this raises a question of whether, and to what extent, the following provision can apply to offenses and petty offenses committed before it entered into force.
