Summary/Abstract: In March 2021, several legislative acts were published in the Official Journal, among which we mention: Law no. 15/2021 of the state budget for the year 2021; Law no. 16/2021 of the social insurance budget for the year 2021; Order of the president of the National Office for Prevention and Control of Money Laundering no. 37/2021 for the approval of the Rules for implementing the provisions of Law no. 129/2019 for preventing and fighting money laundering and the financing of terrorism, as well as for the amendment and supplement of certain regulations, for the reporting entities supervised and controlled by the National Office for Prevention and Control of Money Laundering; G.E.O. no. 19/2021 regarding certain fiscal measures, as well as for the amendment and supplement of certain regulations in tax matter. Moreover, in March, several legislative acts were amended, among which: Government Decision no. 906/2020 on the approval of implementing of certain provisions of the G.E.O. no. 57/2019 regarding the Administrative Code; Regulation on the organization and conduct of the admission contest to the National School of Clerks, approved under the Decision of the Plenary of the Superior Council of Magistracy no. 173/2007, G.E.O. no. 36/2020 for the amendment and supplement of certain legal acts, as well as for adopting some measures during the state of emergency established under Decree no. 195/2020 regarding the establishment of the state of emergency on the territory of Romania, G.E.O. no. 80/2013 regarding the judicial stamp duties. Furthermore, the Government Decision no. 293/2021 regarding the extension of the state of alert on the Romanian territory starting with 14 March 2021, and establishing the measures to be applied during this state for preventing and fighting against the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, was published in the Official Journal of March.
