CASE-LAW OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF ROMANIA

Summary/Abstract: Further to the work carried out by the Constitutional Court, four decisions (exceptions/objections of unconstitutionality admitted) were published in March regarding: Law for the amendment and supplement of Law no. 24/2000 regarding the rules of legislative technique for the preparation of the regulations and for amendment of Law no. 202/1998 regarding the organization of the Official Journal of Romania; Law regarding certain measures of derogatory tax regime applicable to certain lands, buildings erected thereon and to certain authorized business activities; G.E.O. no. 1/2013 for the amendment and supplement of Law no. 263/2010 on the public pension unitary system; Law regarding the approval of the G.E.O. no. 168/2020 for amending G.E.O. no. 70/2020 regarding the regulation of certain measures, starting with 15 May 2020, n the context of the epidemiological situation determined by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, for the extension of certain deadlines, for the amendment and supplement of Law no. 227/2015 regarding the Fiscal Code, of Law of national education no. 1/2011, as well as of other normative acts and for the amendment and supplement of the G.E.O. no. 37/2020 on granting facilities in relation to loans granted by credit institutions and non-banking financial institutions to certain categories of borrowers.
