Summary/Abstract: Dadaism born in response to the destruction of the First World War and the Surrealism came into being in the 20th century under the influence of Dadaism in France became influential in many fields of art from literature to cinema, painting to sculpture, poet to ceramic. Surrealism, which is used in the same meaning as intelligence and creativity, has attracted the attention of artists from the field of ceramics. Yeşim Bayrak is an artist one of them who graduate of the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Department of Ceramics and Glass Design and continues her special workshop. 'Lost Dinner- Kayıp Akşam Yemeği’ is in the work; which has created a new aesthetic meaning outside of his functional and symbolic meanings by combining ready-made objects such as forks, knives, spoons, bowls, and salty objects under of Dadaism and Surrealism with his unique sense of humor, object transformations are discussed with different examples. In order to better read the artifact, similar works in both technical-formal and conceptual sense have been given. The artist uses the material in the service of the idea both gives what convey to people with her individual art vision and opens the door to lead them to other inquiries.
