Summary/Abstract: In her article, the author reflects on the impact of religious discourse and specific sciences on the development of bioethics as a special type of practical ethics that is highly interdisciplinary and analyses some of the most difficult dilemmas that we face. Depending on the model faith and natural, social or legal sciences turn out to have different meanings. This translates into the fact that the essence of bioethics are indecisive disputes. Arguments that have a strictly philosophical character also appear in bioethics.
