Summary/Abstract: Přemysl Šmíd is a Czech painter and an illustrator who joined the cultural underground and an art scene during the normalisation era. Unfortunately not only as an artist, but also a secret StB collaborator. Šmíd (under his cover name Kovář) informed the State Security (StB) on the anti-regime activities, StB knew perfectly well what was going on in the underground and his collaboration also led to the cancellation of many illegal exhibitions. In a section “Galerie” we present you not only his work, but also his reports.
