Summary/Abstract: The author ponders on two important questions. Which one of Abraham’s sons is the firstborn one? Is it Israel – Abraham’s very first son, or is it Isaac – Abraham’s first legitimate son? The other important question of the article is a wandering through life following God’s voice, so consequently a wandering towards God. For a man of faith the whole life is such a wandering. The author stresses (quoting Paul the Apostle) that the main element in this wandering is always divine grace which precedes the deeds and the merits.
