Online registration system for unemployed persons as part of an ineffective employment policy.

Summary/Abstract: The article describes two forms of support for the unemployed in Poland: reg-istration, which is the beginning of activating activities, and economic activation. The author analyses the system of Internet registration of the unem-ployed in the context of usability and adaptation to the possibility of using it by the unemployed. As a result, the conclusion is that such a system is more exclusionary than supportive. The main argument that confirms this is the need for advanced computer skills. As the author shows, difficulties already at the reg-istration stage and the multitude of supervisory activities on the part of the office effectively reduce the motivation of the unemployed to take action.
