INFLUENCE OF CHRISTIAN VALUES ON THE QUALITY OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PARENTS AND CHILDREN IN THE SOCIO-RELIGIOUS PERSPECTIVE

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to analyze the influence of Christian values on the quality of communication between parents and children, with particular emphasis on the socio-religious aspect. The article discusses the social consequences of the effects of lack of orderly ties between parents and children, which are visible in: misunderstanding of themselves and the world by adolescent children, their inability to find their own place in the world and in life roles associated with it, as well as in deficiency in their autonomy in the sphere of the psyche. Then, the religious aspects of the bond between parents and children were discussed, with reference. Material and methods. Monograph. Results. Positive influence of Christian values on the quality of communication between parents and children in the socio-religious perspective. Conclusions. Christian values have an significant impact on the quality of the communication between parents and children, wherein the socio-religious aspect should be particularly taken into consideration. The lack of orderly ties between children and parents leads to the severe consequences. Parents who include such religious aspects in raising their children as: the development of the concept of God in the child’s perception, the transmission of faith, shaping of the personality in the family, the environment supporting the development of sacrificial love and prayer, and upbringing to live with Jesus in the Church, would expect that their child will develop in a holistic way.
