RISK INSURANCE RELATED TO OLD AGE AND HEALTH OF EMPLOYERS AND FARMERS

Summary/Abstract: The subject of the study are health care systems in force in Poland, in particular the social insurance system for employees in the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and for farmers in the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS). Based on the literature on the issue, both the methods of health protection and the system of social and health insurance benefits are presented. The paper presents the results of own survey research on the assessment of the level of satisfaction of farmers’ employees and students insured in ZUS and KRUS with the health care system and health services in the public and private health care system. The need and directions of changes in the health care system were also indicated.
