Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of the article is to analyze the issues regarding the supply of war invalids from the former Ukrainian People’s Republic who fought alongside the Polish Army in the Polish-Soviet war. Aft er the end of hostilities, they were interned in Poland along with other soldiers of the Ukrainian People’s Republic. After the liquidation of internment camps in 1924, they found themselves in a diffi cult situation. However, it wasn’t until 1927 that they were equated with Polish war invalids. This article shows the legislative process that led to the issue of a regulation on this matter. It also shows the motives of the Polish authorities.
