Summary/Abstract: One of the integral parts of language education is the acquisition of intercultural competences. In the context of distance learning and reduced mobility, the need for intercultural education seems even more important. An effective and efficient way to develop an intercultural approach in virtual space is a challenge. The use of online platforms and tools in education is a response to this type of demand. In the article, the author describes the possibilities of using “Canva for education” as a tool supporting online language learning. The ways of using Canva for education were described on the basis of the implementation of the project of the Warsaw University “Get to know your neighbors – near and far. Language and culture in a nutshel”, aimed at the development of pupils’ intercultural competences.
