Summary/Abstract: Profile of Introductory Class Students in Bilingual Secondary School The aim of this article is to present the results of the survey among students of the XV Narcyza Żmichowska secondary school with bilingual branches in Warsaw – concerning their representations of language and culture of French-speaking countries. The study included both introductory students who learn French 18 hours a week and first-year students of bilingual classes, who finished the introductory class in the previous school year. The examination of social representations might help to plan the didactic process thoughtfully and make it more effective.
