Summary/Abstract: The article is a record of a conversation between Ryszard Legutko, Dariusz Karłowicz and Marek Cichocki. The main topic is the conflict between God’s mission and the world of politics. The interlocutors analyse this problem using the example of Socrates, reflecting on his mission, his accusation and his trial. They also discuss more current subject such as the dispute over the Preamble to the Treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe.
