Summary/Abstract: Being a teacher in the 21st century is a very challenging issue because the teacher needs to know how to transfer not only language knowledge and skills but also needs to have multiple extralinguistic competences. In this profession lifelong learning is absolutely indispensable as we have to adapt teaching methods to the dynamic modern world that is continuously becoming a global village.
