Summary/Abstract: Introduction: Hemotherapy is a treatment with transfusion products. it is traditionally associated with risks whose nature and significance have changed throughout history. at present, in many cases, it represents a crucial way for healthcare potential to be potential. despite all the knowledge, the donor and his sufficiency are still crucial on the one hand and the risks associated with transfusion on the other. aim: The aim of the work is to summarize blood donation and production of transfusion drugs at the selected workplace, depending on the type and time. Results: The offered results characterize the current trends of donation. A gradual decline in the willingness to donate is visible. In the spectrum of transfusion drug preparation, the work in the spectrum of time documents certain differences, which are caused either by a change in need (platelets) or by the influence of external factors (covid-19 infection and a decrease in preparation with increased expiration). Conclusion: The work summarizes blood donation and production of transfusion drugs depending on the type and time. The discussion evaluates the available parameters and compares data from the selected workplace and the whole of Slovakia.
