Summary/Abstract: Review: Tomasz Mizerkiewicz, Nić śmiesznego. Studia o komizmie w literaturze polskiej XX i XXI wieku [studies on comedy and humour in Polish literature of 20th/21th cc.], Poznań 2007. Tomasz Mizerkiewicz’s book attempts at comprehensively presenting various forms of comedy and humour in the Polish literature of the past century. The reviewer critically surveys the major issues relative to the category of communism whilst also attempting at pointing out to certain issues not covered by Mizerkiewicz in his book.
