Evolution and perspectives of BRICS groupin the global economy

Summary/Abstract: The article is focused on the analysis of BRICS group economic potential. At first the economic growth of Brazil, Russia, India and China in 2000-2010 was analyzed. Next, the factors responsible for GDP’s growth dynamics were presented as well as public debt and inflation of states belonging to BRICS countries. Subsequently, the 12th five-year plan of the government, marking out the directions of future development, was presented. Finally, the perspectives of further economic growth of BRICS economy were outlined.
