Summary/Abstract: With the end of the grand narratives welfare states lost their most important legitimization and the place of political and social philosophy, responsible for designing shape of future societies, was taken by economic calculus being focused almost entirely on current costs. Today, however, we witness clear weaknesses of this economic imperialism and increasing claims to reevaluate our social order.
