Summary/Abstract: Notable people, who laid the foundation and significantly influenced the development of our legal science, deserve to be preserved from oblivion. Among them are, as well, Russian immigrants who were professors and who have contributed to the progress of the Faculty of Law in Belgrade and in Subotica. In the period from 1919 to 1950, the professors of the Faculty of Law in Belgrade and in Subotica were these Russian immigrant intellectuals: Aleksandar Vasiljevič Solovjev, Teodor Vasiljevič Taranovski, Evgenij Vasiljevič Spektorski, Konstantin Mihajlovič Smirnov, Serije Nikolajevič Tregubov, Mihajlo Pavlovič Čubinski, Petar Berngardovič Stuvre, Sergije Viktorovič Troiciki, Grigorije Vasiljevič Demčenko, Aleksandar Nikolajevič Čelnicev, Nikola Nikolajevič Aleksejev and Nikola Vasiljevič Krajinski. Several texts explore the life, scientific and pedagogical work of some of these authors, but most of them are still covered by the shadow of oblivion. This text will remind us of Nikola Nikolajevič Aleksejev, historian and theorist of law and legal philosopher and Nikola Vasiljevič Krajina, a psychiatrist who made a significant contribution to the development, not only of psychiatry, but also to the legal science.
