Summary/Abstract: In the practice of management of the enterprise managers meet different types of difficulties, which based on their different characteristics need various forms of decision making process. The market orientation of managers is a core factor in determining the effectiveness of decision during the majority of decision making processes. Among all of the possible opportunities managers have to choose the market, which is the most available for the enterprise (appropriate for the company field of functioning). Market assessment cannot be limited by managers only to current products, services and technology of production. They have to analyze all possible opportunities in the modification of existing configuration of products and technology.
