Summary/Abstract: Educational work of adults with children, according to the Law on pre- school education in Republic of Serbia is seen as a part of unique system of education, referring to the children from six months of age to the age they start going to school. In that period, apart from their parents, who take care of them from their birth, they also have trained educators engaged in the process, whose role through their impact on children is realized in the pre-school institutions with a possibility to be continued in schools. The emphasize is, in the first place, on the humanistic theories on learning implies that a child and its developmental needs are seen as priorities. Thereby, the care is taken in the quality of interaction with other children (not only their peers), but also their educators, parents, expert associates and the others. The needs of a team-approach to the work and programming of activities for the level of each educational group Is based on their familiarity with their possibilities and needs. Expert work of all the participants of the educational process with children of pre-school education age, undoubtedly, contributes to the efficient training for their going to school thus taking over the possibilities for the tasks and responsibilities expected.
