Summary/Abstract: The subject of the research in this article is the issue of social rehabilitation. The aim of the study is to show how social rehabilitation programs affect criminals. The definitions of both social rehabilitation, along with Polish rehabilitation programs, as well as criminals and crimes were also discussed. The research methods used include the analysis of research carried out by the authors. The research was carried out on a group of prisoners from one of the prisons in Poland using a questionnaire. The article is an attempt to examine the effectiveness of social rehabilitation in Polish prisons. The article may be the basis for further detailed research on the phenomenon of social rehabilitation.
