Summary/Abstract: The present paper aims to reveal that in Dumitru Țepeneag’s short prose everything is reconstructed from the perspective of a consciousness that meditates on its own transformations and on the relationship with the contemporary period reinterpreted in an artistic way. The depicted world contains enough symbols materialized in pictorialized, visualized images, dominated by a kind of transcendence. It is true that these texts in prose are a challenge for the reader able to decipher beyong the first meaning of reading. The human being goes through a process of loss of individuality in a common world, without clear contours.
