Summary/Abstract: The paper analyzes the norms related to the prohibition of discrimination contained in the instruments of the Inter-American human rights system and the established standards of protection of the guarantee of the right to freedom from discrimination in practice of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
