Summary/Abstract: Neel Doff is a Dutch writer who writes in French and reflects on the misery of the working class and on her tireless pursuit of happiness. In her trilogy that represents a memorial quest, the author writes about tragic events that she witnesses successively, and which make her sink in a state close to catatonia. However, this brave woman overcomes one by one all the obstacles that she encounters and finally manages to achieve happiness, burying the ghosts of the past forever…
