Summary/Abstract: Although today’s individual is greatly influenced by the use of the internet and multimedia tools and the impact these have on everyday life, to this day it has been difficult to integrate these tools and the opportunities they provide into the process of education. This fact, and the problems it generates, has come to the forefront in the last six months, when the global pandemic has forced students and the teaching community to remain in their homes. From that critical moment onwards, the act of education had been paralyzed in many places, it staggered along struggling in certain places, and what we can state with certainty is that music education within specialist music schools has in many cases experienced its own crisis. Given the experiences that I and my colleagues have gone through, I believe this topic is worth dissecting, reconsidering, especially taking into account that this situation could be repeated in the future.
