Summary/Abstract: Grant and Barysch maintain that the strengthening of multilateral rules and institutions should be a priority for the strategic dialogue and an overarching objective of the partnership. As Bava puts it, the challenge is the transformation of the economy, coupled with improved human resource development and governance. Slaughter argues that networks of government officials increasingly exchange information and coordinate activity to combat global crime and address common problems on a global scale.
