Summary/Abstract: Sustainable development can be nominally defined as the strategic vision that harmoniously focuses on present and future, as well. Thus, living the present and in present in a self-conscious manner is the guarantee that the future is not a utopia, but a project that can be accomplished. In this respect, raising awareness of the inheritance, of material, social and economic level, to be passed on to future generations becomes a mandatory accountability to be achieved through educational programs targeting today’s and tomorrow’s adults.
