A new archaeological site in the Bistrița river basin (Neamț County). Some remarks regarding the prehistoric habitation based on the archaeological materials from Ștefan cel Mare-„Valea Mare” site

Summary/Abstract: This study aims to present an archaeological site recently discovered during a field-walking near Ștefan cel Mare village, Neamț County, and the relation with contemporary sites located along a small Cracău River tributary. The area is characterized by a great density of archaeological sites although the geographical characteristics are not the most hospitable.The particularity of this site is related not only by the habitation from different historical periods with occurred in this area, but also through different clustering of the material on the surface.
