Summary/Abstract: Computer graphics have been utilized in archaeology since the ‘90s, originally for data management and visualization, and their applications were gradually expanded to include the creation of virtual models and the spread of knowledge . The technology has since been integrated into many areas of archaeological research and conservation including modelling celestial influences on terrestrial constructions , building detailed reconstructions of archaeological features and the surrounding topographic environment , recording excavations in-progress, printing fills for artefacts, increasing access , and engaging the public in excavation work and the cultural landscape .
