On the Grammatical Category of Elatively-quantifying Expressions with the Structure of a Nominal Syntagma

Summary/Abstract: The article presents arguments that could support a hypothesis stating that the elatively-quantifying expressions with a nominal syntagmatic structure are adverbials, not adjectives, in the nominal quantification. The presented observations refer to the behavior of the preposition de in such expressions and to their morphosyntactic features in comparison with adjectival features of indefinite forms.
