Summary/Abstract: Colicăuți village, from Briceni district, is a typical locality for the Northof Moldova, but with certain specific features. In order to highlight them, the author reviewssome aspects of the establishment of housing, describes certain details related to the traditionsand customs practiced by locals both in the past and now. Referring to the traditional clothing,it is noticed the interest once shown for the certain living norms accepted by the community,being presented the customs related to holidays or the organization of family events, practicedover time by the villagers.
