Summary/Abstract: Orthodox Christian worship is a means of transmitting divine grace to the community of believers gathered in the holy place to participate in the holy services of the Church. In addition to this role, it also fulfills a didactic and educational function, of expressing the truths of the true faith and of instructing the faithful in the knowledge and acquisition of these truths. All forms of worship contain a huge treasure trove of Christian doctrine and morals, and numerous ideas, precepts, and social guidelines for dignified, honest, and civilized behavior in society. In all the prayers and church songs that make up the holy services, we find exhortations to peace, understanding, love, brotherhood, justice, solidarity, equality and mutual help among people, to convince them to apply in life these principles of social coexistence and fundamental rules of Christian conduct.
