Summary/Abstract: Our proposal relates to the axis asking whether there is empirical evidence that there is a greater tendency to want to communicate with known people in online interactions. We will answer this question by integrating it into an identity issue, as it has been addressed in recent years. Our work thus proposes two main components. The first is based on a theoretical approach to "social networks", "digital identity" and "young people". The second part sets the guidelines for our empirical work on the use of social networks by young Turks living in France.
