Summary/Abstract: Oszkär Asboth, one of the most eminent slavicists towards the end of the nineteenth century, published at Budapest his essay on the glagolitic Missal from Senj dated 1494 in the periodical Magyar Konyvszemle. In that extensive work he dealt with a lot of problems linked to that matter, such as the establishment of the printing-house, the figure of Blaž Baromić, the analysis of the characteristics of Missal as regards its form, contents and origin. In view of a very interesting subject matter and the fact that ideas expressed therein were unaccessible to the general public of Croatia, Mrs. Orszolya Szentesi-Žagar, the slavicist, translated this work in the Croatian language.
