Summary/Abstract: In this article, the military life of Abdurrahman Fatalibeyli Düdenginski, one of the Azerbaijani Turks, from the Red Army to the Azerbaijan Legions and his press activities in Germany are analyzed. Düdeginski, who was captured while fighting against the Germans as a Soviet soldier in World War II, was assigned to the command of Azerbaijani soldiers who turned into legions in German prison camps and achieved success against the Russians. Following these successes, Fatalibeyli started press activities in Germany in order to improve the political, military, economic, socio-cultural rights of the Turkish Legions, especially the Azerbaijan Legion, and to share the Bolshevik policies followed by the Soviet Union with the public. In this context, while the war was ravaging with all its violence, Düdenginski started to publish the Azerbaijan newspaper, supported by the intellectuals of the emigrated Turkic world and the Nazis. He wrote news and articles in the Azerbaijan Newspaper, showing the successes of Germany in the war, raising the morale of the legions and giving information about the situation in Azerbaijan. After the Second World War, the "Azerbaijan" magazine, financed by the American Committee, started its publication life under the editorship of Düdenginski. The magazine, which was published with an antibolshevik approach, continued to be published in Germany until the end of 1953. The last of Fatalibeyli's press activities in Germany is the editorship and editorial directorate of Azatlık Radio or Freedom Radio. The study, using the scanning model, aims at explaining the life of Düdenginski by analyzing sources in Azerbaijan and Turkey.
