Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to draw a general framework about how skill training is provided in Şavşat from an ethno pedagogical perspective. The study was modeled as a qualitative research and; embedded theory approach, one of the qualitative research designs, was used as the research design. Interview method was used to collect data and data were collected by interviewing the resource people living in the region. As a result of the coding and analysis of the data, a theoretical model consisting of seven stages, showing gradualism and diagrammed has emerged. According to this emerging model, the stages of skill training in Şavşat from an ethno pedagogical perspective emerged as suitability for the job, determination of readiness, familiarization with the environment and the job- safety, motivation- promoting- encouragement, demonstration- performance method, first experience- imitation, self-doing- punishment for repeated mistakes and appreciating success. In this model, the concepts of caring approach, constant feedback and patience during the training brought to the fore. This model is similar to the psychomotor domain classification developed by Simpson in general terms and shows gradualism.
