Summary/Abstract: This research investigates the reconstruction and urbanization process in Afghanistan. The reconstruction and urbanization processes have been developing for two decades and Afghanistan is one of the fastest urbanizing countries in the world. In the boon conference, Brussel Belgium after the collapse of the Taliban regime in 2001, America and its alliances announced assistance to reconstruct and finish the Al-Qaida in Afghanistan, which was a danger for America and the world, as George W. Bush said in a conference. But was the 9/11 attack conducted by Al-Qaida, or it was an excuse for America to invade Afghanistan. Many electric dams have been constructed. Afghans are now managing Afghanistan's water for the stability of the nation. There were rights for women in Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. But now the Taliban retook the state, and we see no women in the Taliban negotiation team. A qualitative research method was conducted, and the study relies on academic books and research articles to examine reconstruction and urbanization processes in Afghanistan.
