Summary/Abstract: In the twentieth century, the understanding of the complexity of language and cultural relations, the semiotic approach to the trinity of language, national identity and culture, laid the foundation for the emergence of a new direction in linguistics. Because the connection between "language and culture" began to be understood as "man and culture" in the context of a broader problem. After the adoption of language as both a means of cultural expression and an indicator of its impact on culture, the linguocultural approach to the study of language units became one of the most pressing issues in linguistics. The content of linguocultural research covers the study of people's lifestyles and traditions in language, as well as analyzes it in diachronic, comparative, regional, conceptual, experimental, synergetic aspects. A complete description of language structures, the definition of a complete and complete "image of language" is impossible without touching on linguocultural problems. The article examines the interaction of language and cultural factors, national-cultural and cultural-linguistic features, the relationship between their universals, the concept of language and cultural code, and other issues.
